The EarthTemp visiting scientist scheme funded meetings at NOC (Southampton) and Met Office (Exeter), 4-10 April 2013.

The purpose of the meetings were two-fold:

• to discuss advances in the analysis of Sea Surface Temperatures (SST), and
• to discuss proposed new international collaborative arrangements to facilitate future developments of the International Comprehensive Ocean-Atmosphere Dataset (ICOADS).
